PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCEOil Changes
Synthetic oil is the best option for any car as it better protects your engine and enhances your car's performance.
To ensure your car remains to operate at peak performance, an oil change is recommended every 3000 miles or every 3 months.
Your car will last much longer if scheduled oil changes are implemented.
Anti-freeze keeps the engine from freezing...but did you know that it also keeps the engine from OVERHEATING!
The number one cause of critical engine-related breakdowns is cooling system failure. With regard to the performance of your vehicle, checking anti-freeze is as important as checking the oil or brakes.
A car radiator should have a complete flush and fill every 2 years, minimum.
The only lubricant for the moving parts in your transmission...is transmission fluid. It should be changed every 30,000 - 60,000 miles (depending on vehicle). Vehicle manufacturers may recommend that the transmission fluid is changed every 60,000 - 80,000 miles but it's a good idea to get it changed more frequently as chances are, when problems occur, you won't hear any noise or notice any difference until it's too late. The price of a fluid change to the price of replacing transmission is considerable!
Every time you have your oil changed a check of the brake fluid is a must. A good garage will also check abs, rotors, drums, wheel bearings, pads and the emergency braking system.
Replacing and rotating tyres
Did you know that tyre rotation can save money and the cost of a full replacement? It is recommended that tyres are rotated every 6,000 miles (performance tyres every 3,000 - 5,000 miles).

Fuel filters basically keep anything that shouldn't be in the fuel tank out of the fuel tank!
You should replace them every 12 months or 12,00 miles.
Dirty oil can cause a multitude of problems in a car engine.
Changing your oil filters every time you have an oil change can limit any potential problems.
Engines need to breathe clean air for maximum performance, just like we do!
Air filters should be replaced every 12,000 miles or 12 months.
Basically if your timing belt breaks, your car engine will stop...wherever you are. Worse still it can cause major engine damage!
Timing belts should be replaced every 50,000 - 60,000 miles.
